About

t’s my desire to use my life experiences of childhood sexual abuse, rape, physical and emotional abuse, suicide attempt, and domestic violence to bring hope to those who’ve endured the same or know someone who has. The stranglehold of the atrocities of victimization does not have to define you. One of the most challenging aspects of having a history of abuse is the memories and how they spill over into every aspect of one’s life, slowly eroding all that brings joy to one’s life. Being a victim of long-term abuse carries over into adulthood, often resulting in drug and alcohol abuse, self-harm, suicide, promiscuity, and so much more. It’s my intention to debunk the stigma and lies associated with being a victim of experiences one had no control over, which only compounds the shame the victim continues to endure, prolonging their unwillingness to seek help. I will address the various topics surrounding abuse in general and such areas as steps to safely leave a violent relationship. Throughout my 66 years on this beautiful earth, I hope to assure you that while we cannot change the past, the present and future hold great things for you. While your abuser’s greatest weapon against you is your remaining a victim, your revenge is your success. Although memories remain, there is a healing balm to heal your pain.
